Who are SK Home Improvements?
SK Home Improvements is the home improvement service of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company number 16932889), part of the S&K Group, a construction and property group based in Great Barr, Birmingham. The group’s companies work across construction, glazing, building supplies and property.
We take on the jobs homeowners most often need: windows and doors, extensions and conversions, kitchens and bathrooms, plastering and rendering, structural and brick work, roofing and cladding, and outdoor work such as driveways, patios and fencing.
How do we work?
Every job starts with a free site survey and ends with a walk-round handover. In between, you get a written quote with a fixed price for the agreed specification, one point of contact, and the permissions, materials and trades organised for you.
The contract is with S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd. We plan and manage the work and use trades working under our contract, so you are not left coordinating builders, roofers, plumbers and electricians yourself. If anything changes once work has started, the change and its cost are agreed in writing before it is carried out.

What we don’t do
- We don’t publish reviews we haven’t collected from real customers. This website is new, and reviews will be added as they come in.
- We don’t present guide prices as quotes. The figures on this site are national and regional guides including VAT; your price is confirmed in writing after the survey.
- We don’t use photos of other firms’ work. The photos on this site are computer-generated examples, not pictures of our customers’ homes.
